⚒ Kíli is a dwarf, mainly rp'ed from The Hobbit films, but there is also a good smattering of book information tossed in for good measure. He is the nephew of Thorin Oakenshield and brother to Fíli, and a descendant of the Royal House of Durin.
⚒ Kíli is generally regarded to be the youngest of the company, which puts him at about 70 standard years old. While this may or may not be completely accurate, suffice it to say that he is a young dwarf, just barely into his twenties (maybe) by human standards.
⚒ Somewhat irregular to most dwarves, Kíli is an archer, the only one of the company seen to regularly use a bow in addition to bladed weaponry. A few of the others might carry ranged weapons, but Kíli is the only dwarf seen using it on a regular basis.
⚒ Kíli appears to be very devoted to his brother, Fíli, and desperately wants to earn the approval of his uncle, Thorin. He knows that his youth is against him, and is even considered reckless by his mother, Dis. He has even made a promise to her to be less reckless, although it remains to be seen whether or not he can keep it. Kíli certainly doesn't lack for bravery, however.
⚒ As a young dwarf, Kíli hasn't been much exposed to many of the other races of Middle-Earth. As do all dwarves (and most other races of the light and the earth), he has a deep abiding disgust for orcs and goblin-kin, and an inherited mistrust of elves and most Men in general. He is very much a dwarf at heart, preferring to brawl, drink and eat with his fellows around a loaded table than partake of any sophisticated sort of entertainment.
⚒ While most dwarves find females of their own kind the epitome of beauty and attractiveness, Kíli's heart was struck by the arrow of the sylvan elf Tauriel, when Thorin's company was captured in Mirkwood. That infatuation was further influenced when she came to his aid in Laketown, utilizing the healing arts of the elves in attempt to save him from a wound infected with Morgul poison.

About the Mun:
⚵ The mun writes in prose. Get over it; it's just my thing. Rp partners are of course not expected to follow suit; feel free to tag in whatever style you like. All responses, however, will be in prose. I like my quotation marks, yo.
⚵ The mun is sometimes a slowish tagger. Unfortunately, the job and other real-life things sometimes take precedence over rp-time, but rest assured I will backtag into oblivion. No worries, peeps, I'll get to all tags eventually.
⚵ The mun loves plots and AU's and all cross-overs. I generally don't mind ships, pairings, although my preference is heterosexual by default and for Kíli it is canon, so. That doesn't mean that there's not room for "youthful curiosity", but I do prefer a certain chemistry between characters before trousers go flying.
⚵ The mun is also very approachable and does not mind questions/comments/ideas and other things. Hit me with all the things, bbs! I don't bite, at least not very hard and it's out of love besides.
